We insist on being a great place to work. But we cannot get a better proof than when our amazing colleagues choose to stay with us, even long enough to celebrate 10 years work anniversary – as our Nordic Operational Risk and Control Officer, Emelie Kreibom. This is her story.
Emelie joined our Swedish entity 10 years ago, at that time called SevenDay Finans. Her career in the financial industry started as a Customer Service Agent. After a couple of years Emelie was appointed Collection Manager, a position she treasured for more than three years, and then her career took another turn in 2017 following the acquisition, when SevenDay Finans became part of BNP Paribas Personal Finance in the Nordics.
The new Nordic organisation opened up for new possibilities, and thankfully Emelie was not late to seize the opportunity: She changed job position and became part of our Nordic Operational Risk and Permanent Control team. This is her advice:
“I would like to emphasise the great opportunities and results you can achieve through hard work and the will to learn. I will never say studying is bad, but everything I learned, I learned outside of school. I am a makeup artist and that is the only education I have after high school. In BNP Paribas Personal Finance I have learned so much and have also met so many wonderful people who have become my friends for life.”
Emelie is one of our internal role models. She has embraced our Nordics vision and its opportunities instantly, and she has proven to learn quickly. In our organisation she is recognised for being a very committed, inquisitive and helpful team player.
